About Key & BPM Lab
Key & BPM Lab is a set of browser-based audio tools for musicians, DJs, producers and anyone practicing with tracks. Its main tools detect a song's tempo, musical key, scale and Camelot code from a local audio file, then let users change tempo without affecting pitch or transpose the track and export the result as WAV.
The suite also includes a BPM tapper, an online metronome, an audio cutter, an audio joiner and a voice recorder. Paid plans add cloud AI tools such as a vocal remover, stem splitter, AI audio enhancer and audio to MIDI conversion.
The site emphasizes privacy. Core tools decode and process files in the browser, and source audio is not uploaded to an application server or saved to an account. Each tool page explains what is sent or stored when cloud processing is involved. A free tier covers the local tools, while Plus and Pro subscriptions provide monthly credits for the AI features, longer file retention and commercial use rights for generated outputs.
