About Emerge

Emerge is a freight procurement platform built for shippers that buy truckload and LTL freight on contract and on the spot. It is designed for small businesses, mid-size companies and enterprise procurement teams that want to run annual RFPs, mini bids and spot quotes in one place instead of managing rates in spreadsheets and email.

The core product, ProcureOS, lets shippers bid out lanes to their own carriers, benchmark rates against market data and track carrier performance with scorecards. Shippers can also add capacity from Emerge Marketplace, a network of pre-vetted carriers, and connect the platform to common transportation management systems. Carriers can register for free to bid on contract lanes and spot loads.

What sets Emerge apart is that the shipper runs the bidding process rather than waiting for loads to be picked up from a board. The platform is licensed on a Platform Only or Marketplace basis, so teams can choose whether to use only their existing carriers or add the network on top.
