About Carry
Carry is built for people who use several AI assistants and want a permanent, local copy of their conversations. It runs as a Chrome or Edge extension and writes each chat as a Markdown file into an Obsidian vault or any folder on your computer, keeping your files and projects organised as folders alongside them.
Its main difference is that processing happens on your device. Carry reads each provider through your existing logged-in browser session and saves new chats automatically while the browser is open. Re-syncs update the same file instead of creating duplicates, and edits you make by hand are left alone. Code blocks, tables and LaTeX are kept intact, and the trial saves your most recent chats before you pay.
