About AI for Database
AI for Database is an AI database assistant aimed at teams that need answers from their data but do not have a data team. It connects to live databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and SQL Server, as well as Google Sheets, and lets users ask questions in plain English instead of writing SQL or waiting on an analyst.
Answers come back with the query behind them, and any result can be turned into a shareable dashboard or scheduled report. Users can also set up workflows that send alerts to Slack, email or a webhook when data changes, described in plain sentences rather than node graphs. Queries run read-only by default.
The product also offers an MCP server so people can query their data from Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants, plus a public REST API for agents. Pricing is per user with a free plan available.
