About Vehla
Vehla is a native macOS app for people who want one hotkey to reach their launcher, clipboard history, window manager, dictation, OCR and AI actions instead of installing a stack of single-purpose utilities. It is built in Swift for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later.
The app runs text AI actions on-device through a bundled MLX runtime, and can also connect to cloud providers using the user's own API key, with requests sent directly from the Mac. Extra surfaces include a file shelf, a quick AI panel beside the selected text, a gesture-driven window wheel and a Dock-side island, along with notes, canvas and Kanban workspaces.
Vehla positions itself as a privacy-minded alternative to Raycast and Alfred. The free tier includes the command palette, basic window management and limited clipboard and AI usage, while a one-time Pro purchase unlocks the advanced features for two Macs.
