SpeakerEject
Free browser tone to clear water from phone speakers
About SpeakerEject
SpeakerEject is a free, browser-based tool for people whose phone speaker sounds muffled after recent liquid exposure. It plays a low-frequency sweep between 165 and 230 Hz that is generated locally when you press Start, so no app download, account or microphone is needed.
The site walks users through a short routine: disconnect headphones and Bluetooth audio, point the speaker opening downward, choose a 30 second cycle and compare the sound afterwards. It also offers WAV downloads of the same sweep, a before and after listening comparison and guides for iPhone, Android and other devices.
What sets it apart is its restraint. The site states that the tone may help with moisture near the grille but cannot diagnose or repair a phone, and it points users to manufacturer support pages and wet-phone steps when the sound does not help. Nothing is uploaded and no device-health score is given.
