Script Timing Studio is a browser-based tool for anyone who plans to read a script aloud, such as presenters, video creators, podcasters and speakers. Paste your text, choose English or German word counting, set a speaking pace in word-like units per minute, and the page calculates an estimated running time.

The tool keeps its method visible. The estimate is words divided by pace, multiplied by sixty, plus any pauses you add. You can mark deliberate pauses directly in the text with a pause marker that gives a length in seconds, or add extra pause time to the overall total. A paragraph breakdown shows timings for each section of the script, including its own pause markers.

The text stays in the browser, with no recording or sign-in required. Optional aggregate statistics are off unless the visitor opts in, and they never include the script or the result. The site explains its limits openly: the figures are estimates, not subtitles or recorded speech, and they exclude music, editing and unmarked pauses. The tool is free and supported by ads shown only after consent.
