Scratch Scout is a web tool for lottery players who want to compare scratch-off tickets by their math rather than their packaging. Users pick their state, and the site shows data for that state's games, including expected value, return on investment and the odds of winning any prize.

The main difference is that it tracks how a game changes after launch. It shows a starting expected value calculated from all tickets printed, and a current value that updates as prizes are claimed, so players can see whether a game has become better or worse value. A built-in explainer walks through each metric in plain language.

The site currently lists states such as Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Texas, with several more marked as coming soon. It also offers a Lotto Texas number analysis based on historical draws, a blog, a Spanish language option, a dark mode and an email signup for updates.
