Pumpkin Stencil Maker is for anyone who wants to carve a pet, portrait, or logo into a pumpkin for Halloween without drawing the pattern by hand. You upload one photo facing the camera, and the tool converts it into a stencil in your browser, so the picture is not sent to a server.
You set the cut and shave thresholds and choose a detail level. Black areas are marked for cutting through, gray areas for shaving thin, and white areas stay as pumpkin skin. The tool also removes specks and adds bridges so that loose pieces do not fall out during carving. A free watermarked 512 pixel PNG lets you check the likeness before you pay.
The $4.99 print pack unlocks a 1500 pixel PNG without a watermark and a US Letter or A4 PDF sized for a 5, 7, or 9 inch face, along with carving steps. If the result is not right, the site says a person will hand-tune the stencil or refund the purchase.
