Free open-source CAD for DWG and DXF in browser and desktop

About Open CAD Studio
Open CAD Studio is an open-source CAD application for people who need to draft technical drawings and model solids without paying for a commercial license. It reads and writes native DWG and DXF files, with save targets from R14 to 2018, so drawings stay on the user's own device.
In 2D, it offers command autocomplete, object snaps, tracking, layers, blocks and external references. For documentation it supports text, dimensions, leaders, tolerances, tables and paper-space layouts with viewports and plot styles. The 3D side covers primitives, extrude, revolve, sweep, loft and Boolean operations, backed by a geometry kernel, plus OBJ import and STL export.
The same core runs in two ways. The web app is free and needs no account or installation, which suits quick edits. The desktop app for Windows, Linux and macOS adds system printing, PDF output, plugins, scripts and headless automation, and is better for large drawings. The project is licensed under GPL-3.0, with source code on GitHub and an interface available in 22 languages.
