About MeasureFace

MeasureFace is a free face shape detector for people curious about their facial proportions, eye angle and jaw shape. It runs in the browser, so a photo or camera scan is analysed on the device rather than uploaded. No account or app is needed to get an instant style snapshot.

The tool uses Google's MediaPipe Face Landmarker to map 478 points, correcting for head tilt before calculating length-to-width ratios, jaw-to-cheekbone width, golden ratio gap and canthal tilt. Results show similarity to each shape rather than a single forced label, and borderline faces are flagged as borderline. Users who want more can buy an optional full report for a one-time fee of $4.99 USD.

The site also offers example results, comparison guides for the six common face shapes, and separate tools for symmetry, canthal tilt and nose shape. Its explanations are candid that face shape categories are a styling convention with no settled population data.
