About Magdir

Magdir is a directory for engineers, procurement teams and product designers who need magnetic components. It helps users find manufacturers, suppliers and technical resources for inductors, common mode chokes, transformers, magnetic cores and toroidal products, organized in one searchable place.

Users can search by product, manufacturer or part number, then narrow results by component type, application, construction, region or quality requirement. Supplier profiles summarize each company's focus, and the resource library offers inductor datasheets alongside free calculators for inductance, turns, wire DCR and unit conversion.

The site positions itself as a tool for supplier discovery and early research rather than a distributor. It notes that users should confirm specifications, certifications and availability directly with manufacturers before purchasing. Manufacturers can submit their company and product information for listing.
