HexaCalc
Free hex color converter, picker, palette and contrast tools

About HexaCalc
HexaCalc is a free, browser-based color lab built around hex codes. It is aimed at designers, developers and anyone who needs to move a color between formats or check whether text on it is readable. Type a color in HEX, rgb(), hsl(), oklch() or as a CSS name and it shows every other format, the closest color name and contrast ratios against white and black.
Beyond conversion, the site includes a color picker that reads pixels from photos, a camera or the screen, and a palette generator that can pull dominant colors from an image and export them as CSS, Tailwind, JSON or PNG. Other tools cover color wheels and harmony schemes, gradients, Tailwind shade scales, a WCAG and APCA contrast checker, color blindness simulation and seasonal color analysis.
What sets it apart is that the tools run in the browser and cover the whole workflow in one place, from picking a color to checking it for accessibility and exporting it for a project.
