Color Finder & Extractor is a free browser tool for designers, developers, photographers and anyone who needs the exact color of a pixel. Users can either pick a color from anything on their screen with a dropper lens, or upload a PNG, JPEG or SVG file and sample it directly.
The tool shows a 200px magnifier with 2.5x zoom so small pixels can be selected precisely. Each picked color is converted into HEX, RGB and HSL values with one-click copy buttons, and a palette view can auto-extract dominant colors from an image in several sizes. Swatch cards and palettes can be downloaded as PNG files, and CSS variables can be copied.
The site states that uploaded images are processed locally in the browser and not sent to external servers. No registration is required to use the tool.
